Entry from: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Entry Title: “Eleven: Addis Round 2″ Entry: “Friday night Jamie, Tanya and I went for dinner at Habesha 2000 (a great Ethiopian place with traditional music and dancing). We went with Tigist, Musekaret (managers of the guest house), Miguel (Daniel’s friend who works at the Spanish corporation) and Mesi joined us for a bit as well. The food was great; I like the fasting food — no meat! and the music and dancing were cool. They play cool instruments. I liked the kerrar (if internet wasn’t so slow I’d google a picture) and the way they dance is crazy. I think Beyonce got a fair bit of her moves from them. The guys look like they are dislocating their shoulders and necks and the girls can head bang better than the headbangers, and with style. We had a nice dinner and then some Australian-Chinese dude came up to us and he joined us (and bought 4 bottles of Ethiopian wine). His name was Wei and he was a bit weird and socially awkward. But he meant well. I think. We left the restaurant at 11 and then met Vicky (our boss’ daughter) and her friends at Efoy’s pizza place for an hour. Miguel’s friends, Shiv (what a name!) and Daniel (another Daniel, who is in the film industry in Kenya) joined us there. Then we went to some party with them. It was at some restaurant up in
