Bags for Zaza (BagsForZaza.blogspot.com)is an eco-friendly fundraiser I’m conducting on behalf of my brother&sister-in-law. They are in the process of adopting a little girl from Colombia; we don’t know her name yet, so we call her Zaza. My family and I are using the fabric and scraps we already have, as well as donated fabrics and thrift-store finds, to create unique messenger bags, totes, and purses. All profits are donated towards Zaza’s adoption.

Adjustable Leaf Funnel

The Adjustable Leaf Funnel is a great device for home and garden use and may also be used in industry. Anywhere large amounts of loose material need to be bagged for removal this adjustable funnel reduces costs, labor, and time. The funnel may be made from a single sheet of plastic such as 0.060 inch thick HDPE, thick cardboard, or any material that can be creased and folded. Recycled plastic is ideal for the construction of the funnel to reduce costs even further. The design of the funnel allows for many sizes and types of bags to be attached. A 48 inch square funnel will adjust to accomodate 15 to 55 gallon plastic and paper bags. Yard work may be further enhanced by adding hold down spikes through the front edge of the funnel into the ground which allows a user to pack the bags without holding the funnel down.
