I SANG BURNIN UP ON GOOD MORNING AMERICA (August 8,2008)

READ FIRST! Okay…As you all may know, GMA was hosting a summer concert series with special preformances with the Jonas Brothers. It was hectic and complete chaos. My BFF: JonasRocker11 (next to the one in pink) and I camped out over night and we got there at 1 am. We brought sleeping bags and everything.We were so prepared. So it was late and we decided to take a nap so we did but then a stampede occured. The line basically just moved foward. WE had to carry chairs and all our stuff up 3 blocks. So anyways, once we got there, we got horrible seats not knowing that there was a VIP section. But there were staff members for GMA in orange shirts. They were looking for young talented girls to preform on stage to have a JB kareoke contest and so me and desiree were picked after singing a sample of Burnin Up. WE DID NOT EXPECT TO GO BACKSTAGE! It was absolutely amazing! Thank you Good Morning America!!!

US Uncut Bank of America “Sleep In” 6/11/11

On Saturday, June 11, 2011, US Uncut NYC, joined by members from NY Communities for Change and Coalition for Public Education, brought their pillows, sleeping bags, and PJs to Bank of America at 880 Quincy Street in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn to protest unfair foreclosure practices.

Nader’s role in the 2000 and 2004 presidential elections fueled controversy, and he’s set to challenge the two-party system again this fall as he runs for president for the fifth time -The Commonwealth Club of California Ralph Nader is a consumer advocate, lawyer, and author. He was born in Winsted, Connecticut on February 27, 1934. In 1955 Ralph Nader received an AB magna cum laude from Princeton University, and in 1958 he received a LLB with distinction from Harvard University. In his career as consumer advocate he founded many organizations including the Center for Study of Responsive Law, the Public Interest Research Group (PIRG), the Center for Auto Safety, Public Citizen, Clean Water Action Project, the Disability Rights Center, the Pension Rights Center, the Project for Corporate Responsibility and The Multinational Monitor(a monthly magazine). Nader is a 2008 independent candidate for President of the United States.

Entry from: Cusco, Peru Entry Title: “The start to my South America trip” Entry: “Lili and I arrived in Lima at one am to find a taxi man waiting for us with my name on the board. got to our hostel called the flying dog and woke up Ang who had arrived earlier that day. Had a few hours sleep and then enjoyed my first egg since I left London. We went to the supermarket to get a few things for our long bus journey. Travelled for 22 hours to Cusco, we left at 5pm. Although the journey was long, the bus was actually very comfortable, the seats go right back that you are almost lying down and you have other things to support your legs, kind of felt like we were travelling business class.They also give you food like a plane and we watched about 4 movies, quite amazing actually. Luckily we took travel sickness tablets, as there were many people who took huge strain, especially one guy who was green and couldnt keep anything down. Note to self always take tablets before any travel, not good to wait to see if it will affect you or not. We arrived in Cusco, and immediately loved it, such a beautful, ancient city, with street vendours about. loads of cafes, just a nice feel. Went straight to our hostel, and then we met up with Tricia at the main square and enjoyed a beer and pizza. early night for us …
