“Last day in Barcelona” Jakester21′s photos around Granada, Spain

  • Posted on July 29, 2011 at 9:55 am

A TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to Granada, Spain by TravelPod blogger Jakester21 titled “Last day in Barcelona”. TravelPod is a company of TripAdvisor™. Jakester21′s travel blog entry: “January 25, 2009: Granada hear we come Millis and I woke up this morning, ready to pack and roll over to Park Quell, which apparently was designed by Antoni Gaudi. It took us about an hour to get there. We meet some American girls studying in Barcelona, one girl who actually goes to Miami Ohio and knows 2 people I know (Alex Dortch and Gabe Huntting). We took a hike up some steps, roughly 500 maybe, and enjoyed a gorgeous view of the entire city of Barcelona. Totally worth that trek that so many girls on my trip regarded as ‘OMG, the worst walk ever’. Obviously, an exaggeration, Girls. We continued our search for Gaudi’s influence on the park, but it turns out it was closed on Sunday! ****’s weak! (shitzzz weakkkk, wizeaakkk). Oh well, the view from the top was at least very nice. We made our way back our Residence, where the weather was absolutely beautiful. My friend Eric and I took a stroll by the beach, which was so gorgeous. I didn’t want to move; people were out with their dogs enjoying the weather and just kicking it on the beach. I took some pictures and felt like laying out Clearwater Beach style, but it would have been a little awkward since everyone was actually bundled up as if they attending the 2009 Ididerod (Dog Sled Race) held in Alaska by the Inuit Tribe
