Bear sighting in Aspen

This large black bear was sighted in a tree in front of McDonalds at about 7:00am, at about 9:35 it crossed the street and climbed up another tree on the side of the rugby field. Aspen police attempted to chase it into the mountains by shooting it with bean bags, but it climbed the tree instead.

Winter Camp and Polar Bear Plunge!

Who says camping is a summer activity? A few sleeping bags, pounds of bacon, and crappy weather make for a great night. Warning, swimming a river in the dead of winter can cause permanent numbing :)

Bear being chased off

We can provide you with a high quality backpack for your journeys. This Black Bear (about 3 years old) has been visiting us regularly. We trapped it in our yard because it was becoming a nuisance, our garbage cans had become it’s McDonalds. It was tranquilized temporarily so it could be tagged, and now that the tranquilizer is wore off, it is being chased out of the area. They are only shooting bean bags and rubber pellets at it.
