100 miles 1 day – Natchez Trace Parkway bicycle ride

  • Posted on August 27, 2011 at 11:25 am

In the event he would get too tired to complete all 100 miles in 1 day, we hauled with us a tent, sleeping bags and extra food. We ended up not needing it, but good to have just in case. Slight downside was the extra weight made it a tad more laborious on the many uphills. I would normally not recommend riding on the parkway in July, but the weather had an unusual cool down (60s during eve/morning, and 80s during afternoon). Otherwise, Fall or Spring would be better seasons for this ride. See more of our adventures at nashvillemotion.com
