Entry from: Boudler, United States Entry Title: “Great weather, beautiful scenery, straight roads.” Entry: “Time off in the Bay Area After 5 days driving to the SF-Bay area from Seattle, I stayed put for 10 days, hanging out with family and friends. I stayed with Scott most of the time. I hadn’t seen Scott and Stephanie for over a year, so it was good to just hang out, especially for a longer period of time. Usually when I see them its for only for a long weekend over some holiday. (I picked up an IBM Thinkpad 600 from Scott, an old beater of a laptop. I’m sitting in a coffee shop in Boulder writing this.) On the road again, Day 16 While I probably could have stayed for weeks in the Bay area, I felt the need to get going, nor did I want to overstay my welcome. So I finally headed out to Tahoe. I camped in the Stanislaus National Forest outside of Tahoe. The road through the forest is one lane, heavily forested and very twisty. Very fun. Day 17 The next day I went through Tahoe (day 17 after leaving Seattle.) The weather was beautiful, the water was blue, and there were people everywhere. I was amazed at how many people visit there? I headed straight West along 50 from Tahoe. After Tahoe, the day was relatively uneventful. Driving across Nevada was pretty boring, there are ocassionaly mountains to pass
