Entry from: Seville, Spain Entry Title: “Matadors, Picadores and the brutal Bullfight” Entry: “Balmy, misty, overcast yet warm, the smells of Spanish perfume and musty wet trees after its been raining, revellers from another huge night at the feria strolling through town, Senoritas in full frilly Flamenco getup, horse and cart with bells and trinkets clopping through town. Just another morning in Seville during Feria time. I have to comment, the Spanish are extremely resilient and indeed go hard when it comes to nightlife, no doubt due to the fact that their night really begins at 11pm, they rarely drink to the point of degenerative innebriation, and they´ve instituted a 2 and half hour nana nap right in the crux of their afternoon. Siestas may well be the best things ever invented. Set off this morning to see the sights of Seville, taking in the impressive semicurcular, duel towered building at the Plaze of Spain, with giant water feature and Flamenco guitar being pumped around the place adding to the vibe considerably. Headed onwards to the very regal Neo-Moorish-Roman insipred Alcazar Castle, the ´weekender´ for the Spanish monarchs. With prominent cathedral tower positioned in the background, the Alcazar gardens were extensive and deluxe, and the brilliantly ornate tiled rooms and golden halls
