Plastic Bag Ban FAILS in California

The California State Sentate struck down a measure to ban plastic bags by a vote of 21 to 14 vote late Tuesday. The ban would have included grocery stores, convenience stores and drugstores. Customers would have been charged 5 cents per recycled paper bag, or they could have brought their own.
