RARE unmolested 1970 VW Type II Westfalia Campmobile Poptop Bus w/ Bench Seat On auction at eBay right now: myworld.ebay.com If you have wanted an air-cooled VW camper bus…this is IT! This bus is clean and solid inside and out and in absolutely beautiful condition. You can’t go wrong with this one!!! This bus has been in heated storage since we bought it, and was obviously loved by it’s past owners. This 4 cylinder runs great with no issues! This is too beautiful to be your daily driver…it’s a collectible! This is a rare one with the bench seat up front and the 2-burner propane stove and sink right behind it. Originally, this model was never released to be sold in the US We flew to Arizona two years ago (where it had just been overhauled and repainted at a car dealership) to purchase this, and drove it across the Arizona desert and up the California, Oregon and Washington coast. It was fabulous with no problems or issues! We have felt so fortunate to purchase such a great bus. We bought this so we could home-school our daughter while driving around Washington State and it served us so well for the year. It pulled like a champ up and over all of the highest of the west coast’s mountain passes. We very much enjoyed the pace that a vintage VW bus offers, and being able to stop and camp anywhere we wanted.
