THE SPECIALS – Brixton Monday 11 May Concrete Jungle, Friday Night Saturday Morning

Video and Pics from The Specials 30th Anniversary Tour, Brixton, Monday 11 May 2009. There is an intro then CONCRETE JUNGLE begins at 0:46 with FRIDAY NIGHT, SATURDAY MORNING at 3:45 and at 5:28 there is a quick bit from LONG SHOT KICK DE BUCKET worth looking at for the dancing duo in the bar area. Two Tone music was a fantastic part of my youth so apologies for the unabashed posing that goes on but never ever thought I would get to see The Specials so made sure I had proof I was there! Saw Madness in 1980 but never got to see The Specials and then it was all over too quickly, the years rolled on…so thank you to The Specials for letting us go around one more time and I hope one day we can see Jerry Dammers at his rightful place behind the keyboards once again too. Apologies also to the couple infront of us, we tried to minimize the argey-bargey but the crushing mob were lovin it as much as we were. The drummer from MOT was right up there too – nice one!
