Entry from: Florence, Italy Entry Title: “I just want to sleep… but what about Florence?” Entry: “Getting up this morning was hard, probably due to the lack of sleep the night before. But get up I did, I had no choice really. I decided to skip breakfast and have a proper look at the damage I had done to my finger the night before. I tried to peel the band aids off but only got to the last band aid (there were 4 and none of them had managed to stop the blood). I couldn’t get past the last band aid as the pain became so unbearable that I felt ill. It was at this point that I decided to I should probably be changing the band aids in the bathroom. I tried a second time, but was once again was unsuccessful, and the pain was so bad, it made me throw up (charming I know). Being the sensible person that I am, I decided to leave it for a little while, and finish packing, only just as I went to stand up, the whole room decided to start spinning. Let’s just say… I sat down very quickly. I was a little shaken but after just sitting there for a few minutes, I managed to pull myself together and finished packing. Luckily whilst packing, I located the muesli bars I had bought the day before, so at least I managed to eat something. After admitting temporary defeat to the band aid I applied new bandaids over the …
