Here we go!~Stasiia and Candy are sleeping in sleeping bags on the floor of Stasiia?s room with 31 candles around them.* David: Stasiia, Raquel time to get up, were going somewhere special tonight*trying to sound cheerful like nothing is really wrong even though they all know there is* Candy: Don?t call me Raquel! * Starting to wake up* David: Oh right, sorry Candaline. Candy: IT?S CANDY!!!!!*turns over, eyes are still closed and hair is in a perfect dark brown bun* Where are we going?*opening eyes* David: It?sa surprise! Stasiia:*finally turning over* WHAT?! I hate surprises! *turns back over and puts a pillow over her face* David:Oh I think you?ll like this surprise , but it?s not until 7:30 tonight but I think it would be good for me to take you to the mall, buy you some clothes for tonight and get mani-pedis for the both of you then get some lunch, sound good? Both girls:Yea Stasiia: But dad will you make pancakes? David: Of course.*he smiled his barley wrinkly smile and walked out of the room* Candy: Well I?m gonna go get dressed and do my hair and make-up can I borrow your straighter? Stasiia: Sure and after I?m?gone?keep it. Candy:* Walking towards Stasiia* You?ve got to think positive! Um where did I put my leather skirt? Stasiia: Closet, and your belt is on the stool with your guitar earrings on top and your ?I love ACDC? shirt is under the stool for some reason. Entry from: Windsor, Canada Entry Title: “2 more days of madness… fun” Entry: “Wednesday, August 18: I have to shuck corn this morning. It is but a 10 minute effort. I am tired. Then after breakfast me and Doreen go to a good presentation on the production of energy from Fundy tides (the biggest of the world). Very good stuff. I then go practice for THE skit we will do tonight. Everyone here is waiting for it. I hope we can make them laugh. I hope my costume is ok for them. We have some new players. Bill Matier, Marc Labelle and Dan Pope from Ontario complete the trio of Stan, Jerry and me. We will have a video to show when we come back. We then go to sloppy joe lunch. Very messy stuff but good enough. After it is time to play some more bean bags. But again we get beaten. Those old Atlantic ladies that are too “frail” !! Do not believe it. They beat the … out of you. The afternoon is calm after that. I go to the jam session where there is good talent (except me). Supper you say, well of course. Corn this time. After we come back at the trailer and because there is a little ‘creux’ left we have some pasta. I know we are p….(your imagination is running wild). Then Doreen goes to the second project sale (we will be rich!!!). Then it’s time to prepare for the big show. We view some acts first …
