Camping in our Hennessy Hammocks during t-storm at Current river

While camping at current river and we got surprised with a big thunderstorm around 4 am while sleeping in my HH Explorer Deluxe zip . We were camping over the weekend and had a great time especially in the storm. You can hear the rain hitting the rainfly, sorry no thunder I missed those before I decided to turn my iphone and start recording plus the sound of the rain beating down on the rainfly would of drowned out any thunder in background. The HH’s did superb no leaks even had strong winds blowing and I still stayed dry. I had to get out one time to lower some rainfly’s as they were not setup for a storm originally, only took few minutes to make adjustments and we were good to go! We used 3 HH’s mine an Explorer Deluxe zip plus a scout model and an expedtion zip model. They all did excellent and no one got wet at all!!! Temp got down to 50 deg and we all slept nice and comfy in sleeping bags. Sorry bout short video But I really wasn’t planning on posting it on youtube, wish I would of had my GoPro Hero HD but I forgot it at home. I will be sure to get some good video next time in our HH during bad weather to show off the reliability! Thanks!
