RARE unmolested 1970 VW Type II Westfalia Campmobile Poptop Bus w/ Bench Seat On auction at eBay right now: myworld.ebay.com If you have wanted an air-cooled VW camper bus…this is IT! This bus is clean and solid inside and out and in absolutely beautiful condition. You can’t go wrong with this one!!! This bus has been in heated storage since we bought it, and was obviously loved by it’s past owners. This 4 cylinder runs great with no issues! This is too beautiful to be your daily driver…it’s a collectible! This is a rare one with the bench seat up front and the 2-burner propane stove and sink right behind it. Originally, this model was never released to be sold in the US We flew to Arizona two years ago (where it had just been overhauled and repainted at a car dealership) to purchase this, and drove it across the Arizona desert and up the California, Oregon and Washington coast. It was fabulous with no problems or issues! We have felt so fortunate to purchase such a great bus. We bought this so we could home-school our daughter while driving around Washington State and it served us so well for the year. It pulled like a champ up and over all of the highest of the west coast’s mountain passes. We very much enjoyed the pace that a vintage VW bus offers, and being able to stop and camp anywhere we wanted. This “Month in Focus” covers MSF's work throughout November 2009, including: Emergency medical care in the Philippines; distribution of winter kits to Afghan migrants living on the street of Paris; MSF’s call for sustained International financial commitment to HIV/AIDS; an alert to European governments regarding the importance of research into the neglected disease Tuberculosis; and a new publication revealing MSF’s role in medical innovation. Since early October, MSF has provided medical care for over 4000 individuals, distributed essential items (such as blankets) to over 20000 families, and built latrines and showers for evacuation centres. MSF mobile clinics are working in areas with poor access to medical care, and monitoring a Leptospirosis epidemic.In Paris, France, MSF and other organisations have distributed winter kits (including 200 sleeping bags, gloves and backpacks) to Afghan migrants living on the streets.
